Dee Grim is a graduate of Rider College with a degree in Business. She worked for 14 years with McGraw-Hill Book Company in New York City. Mrs. Grim joined Cape Fear Academy in 2000 as a Media Assistant in the newly-built Upper School Media Center and is presently the After School Coordinator for the Lower School.

Mrs. Grim and her husband have two children, Madeline and Harrison, both of whom attended Cape Fear Academy. Mrs. Grim is a member of the North Carolina Basket Association and spends her free time weaving.

Rachel Gilbert began working at Cape Fear Academy in 1997.  After spending six years as a stay-at-home mom, Mrs. Gilbert returned as a teacher assistant in the After School Program.  She is married to Mr. Paul Gilbert, Middle School Social Studies teacher and Varsity Lacrosse Coach at CFA.  They have two daughters -- Sarah and Molly.  In her spare time, Mrs. Gilbert enjoys relaxing at home or playing on the beach with her family, traveling, and helping her parents at their family business at Wrightsville Beach during the summer months.
